1. About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who buys through iTach Market ("the Marketplace"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

2. How the Marketplace works

  • The Marketplace lets you compare prices from many independent sellers and pay for everything in one basket. The goods are sold by the sellers, and the Marketplace collects your payment.
  • Prices, sizes and stock are set by the sellers. We show the price when you add an item; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
  • Estimates in the shopping list or calculator are a guide. Your final total is confirmed at checkout.

3. Fees

  • Shipping is optional: you may choose pickup from the seller instead of delivery. Delivery fees are shown before you pay.
  • The Marketplace may charge a service fee on your basket (currently: no percentage fee). It is shown on your basket and on your order before you pay.
  • There are no other fees added at payment.

4. Payment

You can pay with M-Pesa, by card or by bank transfer, where enabled. Your order is confirmed once the payment is received. Unpaid orders are cancelled after a short time and the stock is released.

5. Delivery and pickup

Sellers or the Marketplace's drivers deliver to the address you give. Please give a correct address and a phone number that is reachable. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.

6. Money-back guarantee

If your order has not been delivered 7 days after you paid, you can tap "Get my money back" on the order page and your payment for that seller's part of the order is refunded automatically, including delivery and any service fee. No approval is needed. Refunds return to the M-Pesa number or card used, or as arranged by support.

7. Returns and complaints

If goods are damaged, faulty or not as described, contact support through your order page. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 are not affected by these terms.

8. Your account, area and data

Keep your password private. We ask for your area so that we can show sellers and service providers near you, with estimated distances. We use your details only to process your orders and requests, send notifications you have chosen, and improve the service, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019. You can change your notification preferences and your area in your account.

9. Service providers and ratings

Service providers listed on the Marketplace are independent. You agree the job and the price directly with them and pay them directly; the Marketplace does not guarantee their work. You can rate a provider only after they have marked your job completed, and a brand only after you have received an order that included it. Please rate honestly.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version number is shown on this page and we record which version you accepted.
